Summary Description

Major responsibility is for the day-to-day scheduling, oversight and supervision of Phlebotomists. Responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, recommending training and continuous education of department employees. Also ensures all activities are conducted in accord with established procedures.

Essential Functions

• Assigns and tracks phlebotomists and drivers to routes and work as needed
• Establishes routes to meet client needs and requirements in the most efficient and cost effective manner
• Ensures all employees adhere to all Corporate Policies and Procedures and operating procedures
• Monitors performance of personnel assigned, suggests counseling for those not meeting performance standards to direct supervisor
• Updates and maintains all records and system databases
• Submits payroll, attendance records, etc. to HR/Payroll department
• Handles other duties such as receiving, redraws, stats, etc. as needed
