Please be aware Henry Schein has extended the expiration date for its ONE STEP ULTRA FLU TEST 25/Bx A/B Test (manufacturer product code #5701886). If Aculabs has provided your facility with this flu test, we ask that you reference the lot number on the test provided and check to see if the expiration date has been extended, allowing for extended use of the test beyond the originally printed expiration date.
Per the August 1st, 2021 #5968 End-User Advisory Notice:
“Based on the positive stability data provided by the manufacturer, the expiration dating is being extended from 18 months to 24 months for specific expiration dates indicated [below]. End users that have the product in stock will be able to use the product through the corresponding new expiration dates.”
