Aculabs is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded our New York State laboratory permit by the New York State Department of Health. Effective June 6th, 2019, Aculabs can begin onboarding and servicing clients within NYS. Our customer service team will begin getting in touch with those who have expressed interest in acquiring Aculabs’ services.
It was first near the end of 2018 when Aculabs began the NYS application process. Known for our resident-centered approach that emphasizes the need for prompt results and thorough testing, our upper management team recognized a growing industry need for laboratories who could offer well-rounded service at competitive prices. With Aculabs’ status as a clinical laboratory industry leader – in New Jersey alone, our reach includes what amounts to over 70% of the state’s long-term care industry – we’re confident that bringing our services to New York State will bring similar benefit.
The application process included an on-site inspection, with Aculabs having been found to fully meet the NYSDOH’s standards for operating as a clinical laboratory service provider within New York State. Aculabs already operates in a four-state coverage area across the Mid-Atlantic with participation in relevant proficiency testing programs. Our staff is overjoyed to now include New York in this growing coverage.
